Pops on the River, presented by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, is Arkansas’ largest Fourth of July celebration and will take place at Little Rock’s Riverfront Amphitheatre. The evening includes music from the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra and will end with a fantastic fireworks show. Participants and spectators will enjoy great classic rock n' roll music, have a chance to win prizes, and reminisce over these awesome vehicles! "Cruisin' in the Rock" rolls into the River Market pavilions and Riverfront Park, located in the heart of the downtown area and on the banks of the Arkansas River.

"Cruisin' in the Rock" is open to the public and admission is free. Little Rock Horse and Carriage Company and Belgian Meadows Farm Presents Cecil Buffalo and Tim Hoover, Journeyman Farriers, will show you how they maintain the hooves of the American Belgian Draft Horses, Some of the largest horses in Arkansas... You can see the equipment required and the expertise from a modern day Blacksmith to actually hand make shoes for these "Gentle Giants" from a straight piece of steel. Cecil and Tim always enjoy talking about their profession and answering any and all questions. This will be entertaining and educating. You can learn how knowledgeable and the importance a Farrier is to the overall health of a horse. Please join us under the River Market Pavilions following the Farmers Market on the following Tuesdays from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. May 26, June 23, July 21, August 18, and September 16.

Last year, the Clinton Presidential Center was proud to be the final stop on the Bikers for Babies ride from Toad Suck to Little Rock, and the Center is pleased to be the venue for the 2009 ride on September 19.
