Whether you’re downtown for a Sunday afternoon stroll, a weekday meeting, a Saturday night event or in town on summer vacation, navigating the area just got easier thanks to modern technology. Little Rock Mayor Mark Stodola unveiled a new interactive kiosk Monday, June 25, at the corner of Markham Street and the Main Street Creative Corridor outside the Statehouse Convention Center. Looking for nearby restaurants, museum hours, or special events? Need to contact the police? It’s all right there at your fingertips.
The kiosk links the city to the people. Now, downtowners can connect the dots in real time, providing a great experience for visitors and residents. It comes complete with multiple languages, security cameras and even a Wi-Fi hotspot. It’s a great new way to tour the town. Don’t forget to take a photo at the selfie station while you’re there.
