Movies in the Park is a free outdoor movie series shown along the banks of the Arkansas River at the First Security Amphitheater in downtown Little Rock’s River Market District. Sponsored by the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau, Movies in the Park is celebrating its 15th season with a lineup of movies that bridges pop culture classics with modern blockbusters, animated features with heartfelt musicals.
The amphitheater opens each evening an hour before showtime (approximately 7:30 p.m.) with the film beginning after sunset (approximately 8:30 p.m.). Families, picnics and leashed pets are invited to the park to enjoy movies under the stars. Coolers and outside drinks are allowed, though glass is prohibited.
