Dates: 10/20/20 - 10/31/20
This year, each participating consortium partner will pre-record a short video that will include many activities, such as storytelling, crafts, games and more. All videos will be uploaded to a Big Boo!seum Facebook page. Kids may watch the videos anytime between October 20-31. They will be instructed to watch and listen for each partner’s “code words” in the videos, and list them on the LRCVB’s Boo!seum landing page for a chance to win an electronic tablet.
The Big Boo!seum Bash was originally created as a free, family-friendly event that provides people the opportunity to visit many of Little Rock’s museums and cultural attractions for a night of safe trick-or-treating, and family fun and games. In past years, children would get game cards stamped at each location and be entered into prize drawings. The COVID-19 pandemic has forced the consortium to develop a completely different way to safely provide an entertaining experience, while keeping the prize drawing.
“The Big Boo!seum Bash is designed to provide the public with free access to our great local museums and cultural attractions. It’s a great family-oriented event that people of all ages enjoy,” said Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau President & CEO Gretchen Hall. “This year, the consortium has come up with a very creative way to still provide families and friends a fun experience using technology and social media, while following CDC guidelines and keeping everyone safe,” she added.
